Increase Your PM Length

I'm trying to install 1.29. It installs, but everytime I try to start the game, it says to insert the CD. I do, but it won't find it. I uninstall the patch and re-install civ3, and it works fine. Is there something special I need to do to install the patch?

Put an end to popups!

It is probably caused by the protection scheme checking for blacklisted apps, such Dameon Tools or Alc120. Anything that creates a virtual drive.

I had the same problem, and solve it by downloading a No-CD patch ( for civ3 patch 1.29f )
you'll find it on mega games.
