I am attaching the server file needed for playing online in the one server still remaining
Simply unzip in the Call To Power Folder.
I am showing my "Path" as I have Activision Value:
C:\Program Files\Activision Value\Civilization-Call To Power\ctp_program\ctp
It will over write the previous one the game came with
 Attachment: servers.zip

Just unzip onto desktop and follow the readme.
This is for CTP2 but works for CTP as well.
Only use the files necessary
Here is where they go:
C:\Program Files\Activision Value\Civilization-Call To Power\ctp_program\ctp
then the 2 dll files just go into the dll folder you will see when you go here.
When your here you will see the anet file
As with the server files, just overwrite originals

If you have one of the older versions of CTP, you will need this patch. This is the English version for Windows.
Go to the main page of Apolyton, then CTP1, then downloads and look under patches

no you need the dll's for MP
About 2 years ago maybe we lost all servers and this was a workaround from CTP2...which works here as well

follow these directions and you should be able to find a lobby

I am just little confused, cause i dont have servers.dat in my ctp folder =)
nothing to overwrite, there is this file bootserv.txt
its 1.2 version that was added to some game magazine...
ok, I have putted this line in bootserv.txt:
911.alink.namesdepot.net
and I copied net folder from msg #2
and it seems it works

If you join a game, once inside the game PRESS ' key (In USA its the apostrophe key, below quotation mark)
This drops down a chat window, press enter to send message. You can click and drag the chatbox around if you like

this way doesnt seems to work. i dont watch this forum every 30 minutes, so if we all decide a day and a time to meet in the lobby, it should work better

tomorrow morning, it depends what morning means for you. at 5 pm my time i should be home tomorrow, but i dont know exactly in which time zone you live. mine is gmt + 1
