The Italian Wars Realeased.
The scenario will very soon be available for download on the Scenario League site, as will several other scenarios of mine. Thank Werd for his volunteering to do this. As soon as I hear from the Spanish Civ2 site, it'll be there too.
This scenario was not necessarily designed for PBEM, however, because of the relatively small empires, the short duration (200 turns), and the relatively short tech tree and few unit types, it seems well suited for such use.
Who do I talk to to put this on the Scen League news?
If there are any bugs, report them here.
(Gareth, NOW change it to tot. lol.)

I'll get a news item on the pages, ASAP.

It's easy to add news...Just take one of the thread ID in the browser address bar.
The go to the 'Civgroups Submit News' section, enter the thread ID, and type!
You can add images in the same manner as the normal forum threads.
Give it a try sometime, it would be good to have another news-poster on call!

Gareth, I just plugged in the unit graphix you suggested. Everything seems to work fine. If there's a problem you spot, Go ahead and fix it then send me the file. I'll create a new archive for the zip and send it along to to Werd to put on the Scen League site. The Spanish Site still hasn't contacted me so no prob there.
Wouldn't be the first time last second stuff has had to be done.

The Italian Wars now on Scenario League
Done, well mostly!
I have put it in the Age of Discovery Section, seemed most appropriate.
What are the start and end dates for the scenario?
I copied the first section of the Read me for now. If you want to alter it just Log In to the SL. Find the page with the blurb. Hit edit (bottom left), change the text as desired and save (bottom of screen). You can't really go wrong!
Also you may want to put info on each tribe. At the moment they are the ones I copied from another page.
My e-mail is playing up so the files on the SL are the first ones you sent me. Send the new ones and I will upload them.
The page took me under 20 mins to build. Have a play around with the edit button. Its really easy to sort out the pages. Just check what others have done and copy them!

Its not a problem! Every time I make a page I work out another trick to speed up the process so the practice is good.
Still haven't had time to play Italia properly. Which Civ would you recommend as I have the day off tomorrow?
