AoN), "Distant Shores",
has been released. Written by
Gordon "Illuminatus" Smith, "literally and figuratively, nations and factions within nations are beginning to distance themselves from one another at an alarming rate. Frustrations in the military brass and growing resentment within their ranks along with annoyance and irritation within governments push patience to its limits".
AoN is the first Real-Time Strategy (RTS) machinima series, and the first
Rise of Nations machinima endeavour that also blends some `live-action` footage for good measure.
AoN is produced and published by
Apolyton Civizization Site (
ACS), one of the oldest and premiere online computer strategy gaming fansites on the Internet.
The episode runs for 15m12s and is available in both
DivX and
Windows Media formats with low-resolution and high-resolution variants. For the first time in the series, an official poll has been established for registered users of
ACS'
forums to rate this installment. "Difficult Choices",
AoN`s twelfth episode, is scheduled to begin netcasting on
