So, basically, to be accepted everyone should dress the same way?

You sound like the Apolyton Frank Burns:"Individuality is fine, as long as we all do it together."

ACK!

Some real fashion advice from QEFTSG:

Put A Lid On It

A cool ball cap is a great accessory, but you don't want to look like a trucker at the "all-nite adult gift emporium." Try storing it with the brim curled in a coffee mug; that way, it'll frame your mug nicely.

Are Diesel-style Jeans still in, or are those already out?

Super. Style tips from someone who thinks dressing like a fast food franchise employee is de rigueur. Do fries go with his Philly's cap?

Jeez Louise, Albert- a white shirt doesn't go with black shoes? What freakazoid planet are you living on?

If I dressed the way you advised, I wouldn't be chic, I'd be laundry.

There's a DW50 for water now, as well. You know, that poisonous chemical compound, dihydrous oxide.

Heh, if you say so. I didn't notice that until you mentioned it - I meant the bleached blonde hair and excess hair gel.

Might as well make something just as unsavoury into something "fashionable." Spiky bleached hair has been popular since the 70's and particularly in the 80's. It seems to have been making a comeback in the 'naughty oughties' (i.e. post 2000).

Britney popularised the Plumber's Smile, and now fat-a55 whales everywhere are being crack dealers.

Then she plays tonsil hockey with Madonna, who's older than her RL mom - EW!!!! It makes me think of a certain scene in "Not Another Teen Movie."

However, noting the flagging careers of both Madonna AND BS, I remain Jack's complete and utter lack of surprise.

oh man... ed norton looking gay...

and again... notice how i said nothing specific about what type of clothes i said to wear... t-shirts? polo shirts? buttoned down collared shirts? jeans? khakis? all those are fine... all i said was basic guide-lines... don't wear tight clothes, wear matching clothes, etc. how do that got to do with conformity? wear different clothes but follow basic guidelines...

and you should see how my man (who you just called a dork, imran) gets girls...

black shoes work with a white shirt assuming your pants are black... like i said, don't go around with blue jeans, a yellow shirt, and grey shoes... that don't match...

i looked around to see if i had more scanned pictures of people wearing normal clothes but most are butchered pics from the prom (damn kodak picture disk ****ing up). i do got this one... ignore the cow testes leather hats though that was a joke...

take a quick look... everybody's clothes matches... my man teef got a white shirt, black pants, black sneaks, and a black rag underneath that joke hat... **** matches... white on black, black on black, blue on blue, red on black (see my man cor got a red shirt, red sneaks, and black pants... **** matches), etc.

Tighter pants not allowed? What in the hell did I lose 15 pounds for over the summer (Now ~170lbs)? I earned the right to make my pale white ass look even smaller and flatter!

There's nothing wrong with Asian asses. My Korean friend from back home has a great ass. If only she'd let me slap it...

Speer, look. Maybe that style of dress is fine for the ghetto, and for the people who live there. But if someone comes around where *I* live looking like that, they not only don't get any girls at all, but probably get their ass kicked by the po-lice.

Where I come from, people like that are serving your food, and working behind counters, and cleaning up after you, and fixing your computers - all for just "lower-class" income.

Hmm... I wonder if Speer should be rude to waiters...hmm...

If someone came to fix my computer looking like that, I don't think I'd let him anywhere near my CD collection, to say nothing of my computer.

Are we allowed to wear band-aids on out faces ala Fiddy Cent?

Would you recommend knocking out our teeth to put gold grills in?

[/Joking....]

But seriously, do you have any recommendations beyond Ghetto fabulous?

Oh, you take me right back to my misspent youth.

Body Shop coconut setting gel...didn't dry out your hair, and didn't make it look like someone had jazzed off in it.

Pomade- euucchh. Sorry, reminds me of the old Italian gentlemen I used to sit next to in my favourite barbers in London, the Mount Pleasant Barbershop. Reeking of stale tobacco, hacking and phlegming....

Hair cream- gah. Bad memories of Brylcreem from early childhood.

Hair mould/mold? Related to Penicillin?

Mold is also a town in Wales.

And Albert- one reason to wear trousers or jeans that follow the line of one's trim muscular gym-toned buttocks is that men and women (in my experience) like shapely arses.

Those god-awful jeans with the crotch near the ankle showing the waistband of your Tommy Hilfigers or Adidas shorts are not cool. Or Stylish. It just makes you look like you're wearing a big filled nappy (diaper) that needs changing.

As for Ed Norton looking gay- we clearly have different definitions of gay, Albert. And I think I have more experience in that area than you...

Actually their teeth usually get knocked out by the cops when they come around my neighborhood

I may be straight, but I have to admit that Ed Norton is an attractive man. He gives hope to all the weasly looking guys running around that someday they can be beefcakes (American History X, anyone?)...

Funny, Albert, if I dressed like that I would look ridiculous.

Not saying it's bad, but one style doesn't fit all people.

ACK!

You gotta be shitting me. That kind of dress isn't going to fly life. Try going to an interview dressed like that, for example. You won't get hired, to start with. And come on - not to make this a racial thing, but how many white people do you see dressed like that?

Tomorrow, I'm probably gonna wear something like some fairly loose fitting - but not baggy - jeans, a dark-colored polo of some sort, a pair of Docs, and yes, hair gel. I can tell you right now that my appearance will create a better first impression than the appearance of anyone in that picture. That's just how it is. Maybe not in an inner city, but everywhere else.
