"Reynolds on RoN" Feature: Part 5
The fifth edition of a detailed interview with Brian Reynolds, President of Big Huge Games, about his company`s upcoming debut title, Rise of Nations, is now online. Entitled "Game Settings To Victory Conditions", the complete, uncut audio from which the five-page article is based is available for listening live on-demand in RealAudio format (to listen, you will need RealPlayer).
In early August, I had the opportunity and pleasure to sit down with [Reynolds]... in his summer home situated in the beautiful 1000 Islands region of southeastern Ontario, says Dan "DanQ" Quick, Apolyton CS Co-Owner/Administrator and author of the feature. You can hear the fifth ~29 minutes of the 2 1/4 hour discussion we had, completely uncut, or choose one or more areas of concentration from the game to tune into [or] you can even listen to the complete conversation organized by topic from beginning to end. [..]
This edition hones in on the aspect's of customizing your in-game world, numerous victory conditions to strive for, and some odds and ends including just who in the world is "Hot Sauce Boy".
Accompanying the write-up is an exclusive screenshot from middle gameplay. After reviewing the preview, either the text and/or audio, feel free to post your comments in this thread.

Superb series! "Rise Up" is a wonderful example of the interview art - sensing how to gently shape the conversation in a way helpful to the interviewee and maximally informative for the audience. It reflects great credit on y'all and Brian Reynolds. Thank-you.

Thank you for the kind words, everyone.
Based on the lack of comments/discussion in some previous editions of the series, I was uncertain to even begin to ascertain what the mood/reaction was to them.

Yes, the common expression KISS = Keep It Simple, Stupid. Using KISP in my article was/is intentional, hence the subsequent explanation of the acronymn.

I can't speak for others, but I was too busy enjoying the meal to comment on how good it was.
