Centaurian Declaration of WAR on team Banana!!
As of 0300 hours Apolyton time and 650 BC game time a State of WAR exists between team Alpha Centauri and team Banana. Team AC has acted to liberate the oppressed peoples of the Banana kleptocracy from from their *cough* phallic *cough* Idolatry and bring them to the one true Yang.
Long simmering tensions between AC and the Nanas have motivated many in the Centaurian hierarchy to advocate use of force but events happening only recently have proved the final straw. Centaurian border patrols came across a band of Bananaians being driven into a fierce and inhospitable desert by a band of club wielding thugs. Our soldiers were shocked to learn from the people that they were being driven against their will by agents of their own state through the harsh desert to found a colony on the edge of Centaurian territory. Their condition was intolerable, children were clothed in Banana leaves and everyone wore Banana peels instead of proper shoes, they had nothing but odd Banana flavored IceCream confections to eat for weeks. Not only was this an unspeakable cruelty but a clear affront to Centaurian sovereign territory that could not be tolerated.
Wise battlefield commanders briefly withdrew and reported their findings and the Supream Centaurian council was called, all seven members were present and a unanimous declaration of war was issued. Couriers reached the now reinforced border patrol which carried out its orders will lightning precision. Forces of the Cho-ko-Norris Regiment engaged the pathetically outmatch band of Banana thugs and finding their Crossbows unnecessary simply round house kicked their opponents into the next expansion pack without the loss of a single man. Simultaneously members of the Blood Ax clan liberated the Civilians, prodding them proper clothing and escorted women and children back to Centaurian territory ware a new life awaited them, the men of the group were so grateful they pledged to assist their new homeland as a work detail, already they have been put to work aiding the war effort which will soon liberate the remainder of their people. The swift conclusion of the war is all but guaranteed by skilled righteous and technologically superior forces of Centauri.
The spirit of Yangism fills the hearts of the Centaurian people, even know the spiritual furvor has reached such hights that Yangism has become the most dominant religion on Earth and Centaurian lands are in a state of Pandemonium. Soon all the Banana people will follow the way of the Yang.

RP:
The great Banana has looked wisely upon Yang. You pretended to be our friend. We could have been great friends ruling the world together. Traitors shall not go unpushed by the Boneco. We even shared you in our decsion on where our next city would be since our planned site had been close to one of your cities. You just slaved the settler. We had open borders. Vox and Gathering Storm will not go unnoticing to the most pwerful nation on Nia Kontinento increasing its land. Even those great enemies know they most unite if they want live. This propoganda minister has told false stories. Only our women wear banana shoes and only in times of morning. They were morning that they were being taking. The banana leaf cloths are part of ritual cermenomy to ask the Boneco for guidence. Our wise men smoking bananas in the mountians knew that there would be an agressor to the Banana. We never thought it would be our great friends. We hope a destrojero eats you alive.

Pffft lame, if AC were real villains they'd have got you to build the "trade route" to them.

I just wait input from my partners.
If they agree with me perhaps AC shall gain nothing from his
evil deed.

Unless you manage to sink your part of continent, that's highly unbelievable.

Teams on the other continent, take note...
GS is attacking Vox in the South, AC is attacking Banana in the North. Their combined goal is to be a two civ contenient (high production, low research). A three civ or four civ continent would do much better against a GS/AC one. Now is the time to join your forces.

The Past, Present, and Future Revealed
Our famed prophet Musaceae, blessed by the Great Banana himself and endowed with His power of foresight, now reveals to all the the the true tale of what has already occurred and what is to be if the Centaurian's do not heed his warning....
The bananas were a happy bunch throughout their entire
blessed existence, living in harmony with all the creatures of the world.
But then one day, the creatures known as the Alpha Centarian's who at the beginning of time had proclaimed everlasting peace with the Bananas, became possessed by the Evil Monkey and betrayed their Banana friends.
The Bananas had no weapons and were afraid...
And so they prayed to the Great Banana who lived high above, and He heard his children's pleas and pitied them. And in His anger He appeared before the Centaurian's.
And He told the Centaurians that they had neglected his proclamations and were deceived by the Evil Monkey.
And the Centaurians were afraid.
And the Centarian's ran away from the Blessed Jungle's that the Banana people called home. But the Great Banana in all his glory threw the Flaming Red Bananas, which grow from the very pseudostem's that hold up the World itself, at the cowardly Centarians.
And the Centaurians ran and dodged, but the Great Banana's aim was true.
And so the Great Banana smote the Centaurian's for their betrayal.
And so it shall be if the Centaurian's continue their assault on the Bananas

So the Bananas are betting on Divine intervention to save them, this is most futile as the One true Yang is on our side and will surely lead our people to victory most swift.
