Wonder Movie Crash
I'm having an issue with CTP2 where wonder movies are causing the game to crash.
The game runs smoothly otherwise, so I wonder if anyone can help me figure out if there's a fix for this. Let me know what I need to provide and I will do my best.
I'm running CTP2 with the 1.11 patch and then AE over it. Vista 64 bit.

It's in your ..\ctp2_program\ctp\logs\ subfolder, you may have to enable logs in the userprofile.txt, if it isn't there.

I have the same problem with the wonder movies. I'm playing CTP2 since years (but only the regular one) and never had this problem. Here is my crashreport:

Hello
Same here.
I've installed CtP2 then Patch 1.11 then Apolythe Edition (2010-28-02 (Revision 1056)) and the actual video player für the movies.
The intro was shown, but the wonder movies crashed the game.
Btw: Is Patch 1.11 nessecary?

Disable wonder movies, so you can play. And then wait for the next release.

Btw. I've also noticed that when the movies are disabled (and the game does not crash), no picture of the wonder appears as in the original version. There is only a standard text message that the other nations looking at you bla bla.

Interesting. I really don't want to play the game without wonder movies.
Martin, is there perhaps an OLDER version of the patch I can use till you fix this issue?

Yes, there is, I think it is even on the server but I don't know the URL, and I only access to it from my home computer.
But actually, I prefer to play the game with double buffered graphics and without any flicker. This way it is more pleasant to play it. And that flicker fix is related to the wonder movie bug.
