CTP2 on GOG.com

GOG.com (Good Old Games) is selling CTP2 for $5.99 now, DRM free (as are all games there). Woohoo. Since it's DRM free it should (in theory) also work with the Source Code Project

Unfortunately not as I speculated and t0mme tested in SCP forums. Installing SCP over GOG.com version restores CD check making game unplayable and unless Activision is willing to remove the requirement of CD check in SCP project license there's not much SCP staff can do about it. I at least will delay my purchase untill the requirement is lifted and there is GOG.com compatible version of the SCP available.
