I hope I'm not interrupting the badge thing, but this thread is kind of interesting [bc I thought Civ2 at Poly was dead years ago] and also mystifying [what's a civgroup for, and why would anyone join one ?].
No, it's great that a few people are still interested in Civ2. I played at Poly a few years and still play sometimes at CFC. Just wondering about the "civgroup" thing ... are there membership fees ? cool uniforms ? long meetings about who gets to vote on stuff ? Just kind of lost on the concept, but I guess you've cleared it up - it's more of a statement than a club. Thanks.
