Reload error due to crash --"Failure writing to draw buffer", which is the first I have seen this error with SMAC, happens all the time on CIV3!

Hey all I have applided the 2000/ xp patch been haveing problems and wanted to take care of the problems on transcend level thought I should let you all know, will drop out if you all don't want to apply the patch (I would recommend it though)

That's ok i've been running smac/x on win2k for a while with no compatability problems.
I hadn't realised there was an issue with patched to non-patched PBEM

I think the XP patch is still considered SMAC 4.0, so we should be OK!

Well as for myself, I'll be on vacation the first week of January so I think we can all expect some slowdown over the next few weeks.

ah not a problem sorry for misunderstanding. Turn played and sent on general question, thinker means we get two citizens before any become unhappy correct?
Dacole sat in his chair silently fumming...haveing taken over when santiago died soon after landing he had never seen the plans they had worked on together go this far astray. The govenorship wasn't supposed to be decided until thirty years from now!! How did the peacekeeprs get my factions commlink? Further more how did the hive get it?? Surley the university faction didn't give it to the hive?? Though the hive must have gone through with their threat to give it to the peacekeeprs they must be punished for that...
At least morgan won rather than that tree hugging dedrie, how had she prospered so well here? Had she learned something about the mindworms that he had not? Dacole shivered as he thought of Diedre with a good army or even worse and army of worms at her command. Morgan is a fool compared to her, he will stay busy with his bussiness and not be a bother. Thankfully he won, but the election wasn't supposed to happen until our population had tripeled...dacole continued to fume silently his aids haveing vacated the building much earlier as soon as news of the election broke. How did blut0 have the audacity to call an election surely he didn't think he would win!

I joined a number of games recently, almost all have names like HcF 2X3 or FGHH that I had to track this one down.
