View Full Version : Sprite List

We used to have a sprite list to avoid different mods from using the same IDs to refer to different sprites. But this list is very old and many new sprites exist now. Time to update the list?

Discuss: What new sprites should be added? (I.e. which ones are/will probably actually be used?) Which ones can be removed? Any other changes?

I don't suppose anyone has a good overview of all existing sprites? :scared:

My opinion: Tom Davies and BleuO retired from CtP modmaking a long time ago, so there's no longer a need to reserve space for them. It's not very likely Dinosaur an other exotic sprites will be used very often, but regular Civ3 and AoK units have a good chance of being used, so we should IMHO add some of those.

This is Wes' list, yes? IIRC there was a minor discrepancy between Cradle's numbering system and MedMod's. But if this has been corrected in later updates, then it doesn't matter.

Thoughts: Any unit that is being used in a mod cannot be renumbered. Since CtP2 has a catapult sprite already, the blue catapult and the belfroi (this is the fanmade brown one, I think) are no longer used, so can be moved. The frigate and carrier are also custom and unused. We have four spaces 98 99 100 113 which are serving no purpose currently. If we were to abritarily move the last four into those gaps, we'd have a big space 168+ to play with for new sprites, as well as of course 139-150, into which I suggest we put some of Carneron's less sci-fi sprites.

Also, the hosting of custom sprites is a mess. They're scattered between two "files" pages, the directory, and half-a-dozen fan sites which come and go like leaves in a breeze. If we get all fan sprites onto the Depot, we can link them properly, even set up a database, search page or something.

I agree, something needs to be fixed. We can use Apolyton's disk space for this if needed (allowing us to use PHP to write a search/database/whatever script). What we need first and foremost is a list of ALL CtP2 sprites out there -- but that could be a painful job to compile...

Both the belfroi (197) and blue catapult (180) are used in Cradle, so numbers need to be reserved for them.

I believe that I did fix the discrepency between Wes's Mod and mine, but that was a long time ago.

darn. That, of course is the other problem. Getting the names sorted. I really can't see anyway of being 100% standarised without images of each one... :D

Sprites not on the list that I found after a quick scan of the directory and recent threads:

John Wiley's three musketeers:
http://apolyton.net/ctp/modification/zips/ThreeMusk.zip&action=go&id=1767

Lev's satellite (His attack 'copter is APP #97 and missile cruise, #96)
http://apolyton.net/ctp/modification/zips/satellite-helicopter.zip&action=go&id=1764

Crousto's planes
http://apolyton.net/ctp/modification/zips/avions.zip&action=go&id=1781

"Steve"'s satellite unit.

The Combat Engineer from CtP1. New tgas needed. Mine suck. This was/had been allocated #113 later on in that thread.

Alper Saracoglu's 38 of mixed cultural background.

My Battering Ram and Xbowman here (http://www.weaver1.btinternet.co.uk/ctp2/files.html)

BigMC's dinos * 3/4? Allosaur, Stegosaur and Parasaur ( +Anklyosaur?)

Stankarp's: heavy spearman, phalanx, war chariot, galley, heavy cavalry, legion, (keshik on the way ?)

FRITZ has just released 9 more AD 1800 units - all animated, movement and attack, a little off-centre of tile, but very nice-looking in with his EUROPE 1800 scenario.

And law's 9 units I have somewhere.
http://apolyton.net/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=30326

I've searched the forum back to when Tom released his Chariot. I can't guarantee that's the lot of them, but I'm not about to double-check. :p

I think I tried to use one of these sprites and I think it was a settler but I am not shure, so if it is really something we already have then it could be replaced by something else. Presuming it does not make any trouble. Also the gu000.spr is not used.

I tried the above links and for the first 3, got a "congratulations you found a missing page error"??

30326 did connect though.
Locutus, can I bundle up all my sprites into one folder and submit them for you to put in the units section of the ctp2 information pages? I can also do Canerons units as well if you like as I downloaded all of them.

I have Med mod, SAP and Cradle downloaded and my numbers for sprites were inserted into gaps(except for cataphract- need to give that a new number). They are.
-194 Auxilliary Legion.
-Cataphract 086
-Galley 187
-Heavy Cavalry 169
-heavy spearman 157
-Phalanx 196
-war chariot 146.
-legion 195

As a database, it sucks, but this is a very basic version of the kind of thing we need.

How come there aren't any links to some pages (ie IW's work in progress, and the civ3 units) at the CTP modmakers depot main page?
...or is there, and I'm just blind and/or stupid :)

Immortal Wombat
June 4, 2003, 11:20
Because the main page isn't updated as much as it should be. :D

We use the Depot more as an FTP host* than as a web site/directory. Consequently, not everything that gets put up on it gets linked from the main page.

* Contrary to the intentions of the host, amusingly enough - but if they will provide an enormous amount of file space, they have to expect some people to use it for files - html doesnt use an awful lot of space.

The three paratroopers and four unique infantries in the WW2 scenario have not been assigned sprite numbers. Request we put the Marines at least in with the other scenario units/WW2 tanks and planes at numbers 98,99,100.

If we also relocated the AP1 units (horse archer, privateer, 'copter and missile cruiser) we'd have room for the infantries in 94-97. Do any CtP2 mods use the 4 Apolyton Pack units?

edit: ok, MM2 does. Scrap that.

Ok... The index (http://ctpmodmakers.250free.com/sprites/index.html) is now updated to where Wes left off. I have added Lev's satellite to #98 and Crousto's planes as #99 and #100. This fills that gap nicely.
edit: I have since replaced these, as they clashed with WAW sprite allocation. They are now at #149,#150 and #164.
Which leaves (as a maximum - see Appendix):
Numbers to Assign:

009 (1)
200 (1)
-----
(2)

2 spaces.
+166/167 ???

And these sprites to put into it... In order of groups of priority (IMO)

C:CtP: 27 still unassigned
abolitionist, bomber, cavalry, c-branch, cyberninja, crawler, diplomat, drone,
ecoranger, fascist, fighter, fire trireme, infector, lawyer, m-gunner, marine,
mounted archer, phantom, pikeman, pod, sea engineer, slaver, space fighter, spy,
s-bomber, tank, televangelist,

Immortal Wombat: 1
Battering Ram

FRITZ: 9
Europe 1800 units. Musketeers, cossacks, etc.

Alper Saracoglu: 39
(all unanimated)

Harlan Thompson: (lots)
WW2 Unit pack.
(all unanimated) But lots of 'planes and ships that don't need movement animation, and still look fine.
I have 140 on file. I'm not sure how many of these are new and unique. Most I think. NB: 198 and 199 are from this pack IIRC.

LittleWing: 8
Fantasyesque units.
Only a couple usable in 'real' historical context.

BlueO: 5
Sprites mentioned in his AltoSciFi newsprite.txt, but #ed out
#SPRITE_SKY_ANGEL, SPRITE_WAR_GODDESS,
#SPRITE_IMPERIAL_SHADOW_TROOPER
#SPRITE_BATTLE_MECHA, SPRITE_AL_GROUND
Do they even exist?

Big Mc: 4
Allosaur, Stegosaur and Parasaur ( + Anklyosaur?)

"Steve"'s Satellite (directory)
With sounds IIRC. But... no space in CtP2

John Wiley's Three-coloured musketeers
(unaminated)

Lars Anders Willen (law): 9
Mostly fantastic, or sci-fi.
(unanimated)

Please forgive me if I've missed anyone or anything out.

Also on the depot I have uploaded thumbnails of the first 50 of those (the C:CtP, WW2 ones, Stankarps and mine) but they aren't linked in a page yet. You can access them by FTP in the directory root/sprites/imgs/un# . I think it would be useful to have these indexed anyway, even if they aren't in the first 200.

Queries:
#110: Noted in WesW's list as Rifleman. Which is this?
166: Down as Storm Marine. Surely this is #73?
167: Down as Airborne. Is this the Para Transport plane? This is #54
Why does gl_str.txt say CYBERATTORNEY? Is there actually a CyberAttorney? I can't find one.

Appendix:
Cradle places IW's crossbowman at 188 and a hurricane at 176 and the C:CtP slaver at 190. These are fine.
But Cradle and LOTR also introduce four duplicitous numberings with MedMod standard:
SPRITE_PROPHET 192 #TD's spy - Wes used 151
SPRITE_DROMON 189 #CtP1 longship - Wes used 112
191 - CTP1 Archer # Wes used 120
194 - CTP2 Zulu2 # Wes used 72

At this point, the number of downloads for Cradle and MedMod makes the task of eliminating this impossible. So we've got the four units in there twice. It also means we should - if we had wanted to - put all the C:CtP units in the block ending 191, to swallow up the Longship-Slaver-Archer (Cradle 189-191), with only the Crossbowman as an interruption.
Also, the CATTLE sprite is in there twice, as numbers 1 and 9. This can be removed without difficulty.

Well done, IW. This should save people a lot of time.

Notes: In the index,

41 Ship of the Line should be Destroyer.

95 (Privateer) and 96 (Missile Cruiser) aren't animated. I've always hoped that someone would do animated versions of these.

IIRC, WesW's 110 Rifleman is the same as the 119 Musketeer, but I have a vague recollection of seeing a different sprite in Wes's CTP1 Mod. If this is wrong, see below.

"166: Down as Storm Marine. Surely this is #73?" It's a CTP1 sprite that's different from #73.

Suggestions:

110: WW2 Pillbox. I'm using it as an immobile unit (not a tile improvement) that you can build in cities to try to counter the tank rush. I've got SLIC that makes them vulnerable to Bombers, Fighters, and especially Cruise Missiles.

I'm also using:

brown marine (BRITISH_PARATROOPER) 120

SPRITE_BLUE_GENERAL 110
SPRITE_BROWN_GENERAL 111
SPRITE_GREEN_GENERAL 113

Any suggestions as to where I should slot these in?

Some of the CTP1 sprites could be useful: cavalry, fascist, ship of the line (it's slightly different from the CTP2 one). I don't have access to CTP1 at the moment so I can't check out the others.

I wondered, but I only had the *tgas and CtP1 vidoes at the time, and from different angles it all looks different anyway, and I wasn't sure. But if #166 is the CtP1 sprite, what is #73? There isn't a storm marine unit in CtP2, did they make an updated sprite and then never use it?

At the moment I'm thinking 141-150 would make a good slot for the rest of the WW2 sprites, but it might depend on whether we choose to remove BlueO's sprites from the list. In terms of general usefulness they come somewhere near the bottom of the list: meven most scenarios are unlikely to be built around BlueO's own private scifi/fantasy world.

Some of the CTP1 sprites could be useful: cavalry, fascist, ship of the line (it's slightly different from the CTP2 one). I don't have access to CTP1 at the moment so I can't check out the others.
Yes. I think this needs polling.

I have SAP, Cradle, Med Mod and WAW downloaded. I allocated my sprite numbers to ones not used by the above.

They are as follows. Please note the Legion is a re work of the original version and has a plume on his helmet and attacks with the gladius to distinguish him from the auxilliary. The auxilliary is the original legion I did but he attacks with the pilum.

1) heavy spearman-157
2)phalanx-196
3)chariot archer-146
4)heavy cavalry-169
5)galley-187
6)peltast-191
7)legionary-195
8)auxilliary legionary-194
9)cataphract-193

Before you finish your mod, would it be possible to request a renumbering to #141-149 or #168-175 (+ #177), to keep them all together and to ensure there is unlikely to be any overlap at all. Some of those numbers are designated sprites already, even though they may not be in use actively, it is probably advisable to keep them as they are. :)

oops.
So that gives us double-assigned #120, and #99-100 (which was my fault, and changes to which don't affect other mods)

And #126-144, which cuts BlueO out completely. Um. Any objections to losing BlueO's sprites from the main list?

Hi IW,

I havnt done it yet, will use 141-149.

I will be doing about 7 sprites for my Medieval period expansion later this year.

I envisage trebuchet, mameluke, fuedal cavalry, jannissary, paladin, foot knight and a foot raider as well as using the samurai sprite.

Looks well, Ben. Only programers start to count with zero, so sprite #200 would be rather #000, but same number of empty sprite positions.

Finally Locutus shoould add the sprite list on the modmakers' depot to the CTP2 Apolyton Modification pages. Probably this was the intention of this thread. :D

You can't use space 0, it doesn't work - it just uses sprite 1 instead (actually, I only know this for CTP1...).

Interesting, all slots I tried bigger 199 endied that I got an error message that sprite GU000.spr was not found or was it GU00.spr, because I have such a unit sprite in my sprite directory with only two digits. If I remember correctly this sprites contains the CTP1 UFO and as I tried it in the game, the game crashed as I moved, unfortunatly I did not take the time to figure out if it was the sprite, the slot or something else. And I don't remember if it was in the GU000.spr or in the GU00.spr format.

Additional I did not find the GU001.spr, so we can reassign this slot, I don't think we will ever have a use for the cattle and as it is a already in so...

For the Good sprites, I have a sprite in my folder called GG000.spr I took it from CTP1's GG00.spr. I know that it appeared in CTP2 as I gave if I remember correctly to the gold filed the value zero or negative values. I remember everything was right and the dummy ressource sprite appeared that I put into the sprite directory.

How should it work, you don't have sprite numbers in newsprites.txt with leading zeros. The idea was that it could work with old SpriteID.txt but it didn't work, I tested it.

Just a request, but could some mod maker (I'm still in remedial SLIC) use the C:CTP War Walker in a mod? I was trying to use it in some CTP2 games and renaming it a 'Mec.' It turned ugly real quick. Updated again, added stankarps, and the remaining WW2 scenario units. There are a grand total of 7! yes 7!! spaces left, and I'm not sure what to do: reserve them for future use, or fill 'em with C:CtP sprites. Either way, it's fairly obvious we've hit a limit, and need either some way around it, or an end to all unit-additions (not desirable :D)

Of course, if we make these 200 the standard sprites, then a future modswapper program (J?) could switch in the last several without much difficulty I hope, and would mean minimum excess downloading. Unless I'm confused. Heaven help any new modders trying to cut through this beaurocratic mess.

Anyway...

I did it thus:

#177 SPRITE_BRITISH_PARA # WW2 Scen
#178 SPRITE_US_PARA # WW2 Scen
#179 SPRITE_GERMAN_PARA # WW2 Scen

#181 SPRITE_INFANTRY_GERMAN # WW2 Scen

#184 SPRITE_INFANTRY_DUTCH # WW2 Scen
#185 SPRITE_GENERAL_GREY # WW2 Scen
#186 SPRITE_GENERAL_GREEN # WW2 Scen

Either way is good, its only a web page, text file, post, 6 images I have to alter :)

Could you possibly use #9 instead of #1 for the SotL though? I like having the cattle at the beginning...

edit: I must have missed this Brown General as well. Is he another WW2 unit?

Peter Triggs
June 29, 2003, 19:10
Yes, originally he was an unused WW2 sprite:

GU111.SPR - brown fascist

I'm using these generals as great leaders (this is Georgi Zhukov) and it's really not a big deal because I'll have to write some code to keep them out of battles and just give them influence. Alexander is fine but most generals didn't do any actual fighting.

Sorry I have been tied up with tax returns and getting ready to move house.

The main changes are.

SPRITE_HEAVY_SWORDSMAN 3
SPRITE_ADVANCED_WARRIOR 150
SPRITE_SCOUT 72
SPRITE_SEIGE_TRAIN 149
SPRITE_BALLISTA 148
SPRITE_HEAVY_CAVALRY 169
SPRITE_SUPPLY_TRAIN 2
SPRITE_HEAVY_SPEARMAN 157
SPRITE_CHARIOT_ARCHER 146
SPRITE_PHALANX 196
SPRITE_CONSCRIPT_SWORDSMAN 145
SPRITE_GALLEY 187
SPRITE_HUN_RAIDER 94
SPRITE_CONSCRIPT_LEGION 83
SPRITE_PELTAST 191
SPRITE_AUXILLIARY_LEGION 194

The new cataphract is 193 so I am not using the black horse archer. The original legion is now conscript legion. 3 and 72 are existing units unchanged. Advanced warrior is Carnerons Civ 3 swordsman. Supply train is the Settler. Conscript swordsman is TD's bronze swordsman. Hun raider is the Apol horse archer.

Can you tell me what numbers you want me to use as there are too many to fit in one gap at the moment I think.

Sorry again for the delay. I tried to post this reply on the forum 10 mins ago but it locked up halfway through the upload

SPRITE_CONSCRIPT_SWORDSMAN 157 (TD's swordsman)
SPRITE_SUPPLY_TRAIN 2 (Settler CtP2)
SPRITE_HEAVY_SWORDSMAN 3 (Warrior CtP2)
SPRITE_SCOUT 72 (Zulu Warrior: EB)
SPRITE_HUN_RAIDER 94 (Apol horse archer)

Which leaves your 10 and Carneron's?

Carnerons:
er... what does this look like? Call it 187 for now, I don't know.
SPRITE_ADVANCED_WARRIOR 187

Yours:
Shall we say:
SPRITE_SEIGE_TRAIN 168
SPRITE_BALLISTA 169
SPRITE_HEAVY_CAVALRY 170
SPRITE_HEAVY_SPEARMAN 171
SPRITE_CHARIOT_ARCHER 172
SPRITE_PHALANX 173
SPRITE_GALLEY 174
SPRITE_CONSCRIPT_LEGION 175
SPRITE_PELTAST 195
SPRITE_AUXILLIARY_LEGION 196

Cataraphract 193 <-- this is your sprite as well? or is that the heavy cavalry?

Hi,

Back on line, could not access this site at all yesterday.

I dont need a number for the Consrcipt Legion as it is the existing legion sprite with a new name. Sprite no stays the same as in cradle.

My advanced warrior is the Civ 3 swordsman as done by Carneron.

The cataphract is a new sprite, separate to the heavy cavalry. Hated using the black horse archer as the cataphract. The cataphract is based on the Civ fanactics (aoe2) cataphract but mine uses the lance:-)))

Ah crud. Just found that thread*: that's 6 more sprites to include, and they aren't so bad looking either.

Nothing really I can do now, unless we reshuffle the rest, but I'll get the swordsman/warrior in. (Number 3 on the attachment below)

These are all Caranorn's units (all from Civ3) then:
1. Infantryman

ok, I have images for:

A: ((I thought this was the conscript legion)) (175 if you need)
B: Galley (174)
C: Auxillary Legion (196)
D: Cataphract (193)
E: Peltast (195)
F: Phalanx (173)
G: Heavy Spearman (171)
H: Chariot Archer (172)
I: Conscript Legion? The C:CtP one. (:scared: )
And the Advanced Warrior #3 in above post.

So I need images and/or preferably sprites for
SPRITE_SEIGE_TRAIN 168
SPRITE_BALLISTA 169
SPRITE_HEAVY_CAVALRY 170

ok received. I'll stick that lot up. :D

/edit

I dont need a number for the Consrcipt Legion as it is the existing legion sprite with a new name. Sprite no stays the same as in cradle.

Just to confirm, this should be #116 :fingerscrossed:

/edit again
This list now reads:

To assign:
009 (1) (duplicate cow) [C:CtP SotL]
190 (1)
200 (1)
-----
(3)

+ 166 and 167 I'm still confused about.

/edit 3
Caranorn's Warrior at #190, leaving two (or four?) slots remaining.

009
200

No, sorry, the legion in Cradle was no 83. I changed that to conscript legion in my mod.

You could check out this thread: UTILITY: FLIC Editor: Change unit graphics (http://apolyton.net/forums/showthread.php?threadid=35741)

If the email address you find there does not work try to PM Moeniir, if it does not work you could try contact him by PM on Civfanatics.

Call To Conquest has 'gone gold': Locutus has the file and it should be in the directory shortly.

But, reviewing it's newsprite.txt, I noticed that I used 183 for the Blue General (when I meant to use 186).

http://ctpmodmakers.250free.com/sprites/index.html

If somebody wants to index Harlan's sprites (WW2 pack, and the 5 other unanimated units), Alper's 39 miscellaneous sprites, the 2 EB sprites and the Activision sprites from CtP and CtP2, be my guest, the rest is mostly done. Although not all the images appear for some reason

Hello and welcome to The Sprite List Saga part III... :D

Since 250free is having some tech problems at the moment, and I'm not too sure it has php anyway, I've moved the whole shebang over to here (http://ermsays.net/sprites/). You'll be pleased to note that I have fashioned a rudimentary search feature on it. But for now it will serve. Currently the CTP200 (or 195 with 4 repeats) is indexed and searchable, with most of the other sprites accessable via the pages for each artist. I plan to put everything else into the database for searching and stuff soon.

If anyone has any suggestions as to how I should pack the remaining sprites on top, please don't hesitate to suggest them, or they'll go all jumbled on top, from 200 to 250 or whatever it is we've hit now.

Also, we have a whole load of repeated names, inaccurate names, double names, and so on. When in doubt, I've put in both names to make searching more useful. And I think what would be useful as well would be a 'category' field for each sprite, so that you can search for all the archers, for instance and get all the archers, even the ones listed under 'Bowman' and 'Peltast', etc. Or civilians, or tanks, and so on. And maybe even by age as well, though I would be unwilling to do that without serious assistance, since my historical knowledge isn't up to it.

So that's about it for the listing of stuff. Who wants to sort out the zips? :p

Happy as I am to host the index page, I'd rather not be hosting the 200MBsworth of sprite files once that gets sorted out. Locutus, can we stick this lot up on Poly?
Also, this is cobbled together with a pretty poor knowledge of php, and if the database moves to Poly, I suspect someone can bung a search page up much like the old files pages had which would do the job far more elegantly.

Great work Immortal Wombat... :b:

Some pictures are not displayed though, if you click on the link leading to the sprites designed by Apolytoners, those designed by The Big Mc, John Wiley, Steve, Geo and one of yours are not displayed... :(

I saw Steph at Civ fanatics made a SBB Storyboad build or something. I havent really checked it out, but could it be a start to make FLCs to Sprites?

<strike>Case sensitivity. Corrected</strike>. Thanks.

 Nope, I've no idea what's causing that. er.

Though I know you are far more skilled than me in computer science and that there are few chances you learn something from my opinion... come on, Tamerlin you can do it... I think it could be your html code.

Are your links targetting at the right folder, are the names of the pictures in your links the same as the names of the pictures in your folders or are there errors in the said links? :(

I don't know if this can help you but all the missing pictures lack the [go] feature... :(

Yeah, they're the ones which aren't in the first 200. I think I fixed it anyway. Lesson learnt: Don't use '#' in folder names.

What should we increase k_MAX_SPRITES to?

Well if it doesn't screw anything else up, then as large as possible. I reckon it currently doesn't need to be more than 300 or so, but if we want to allow for future sprites, 500 should be a realistic upper limit, unless there is a massive upsurge in interest.

Ok, I have updated the unit sprites database (http://www.ctp2.info/database/sprites/units/list.shtml). I added all sprites I could find except "personnel" units in the small "civ3"-format (in E's Civ3-Mod and Maquiladora's Red Front Scenario), because they won't fit in so well with the other sprites in any Mod that's not a "pure" Civ3-Mod -- but if significant demand arises, I could add them to the database using the "civ3-guXXX" numbering format (http://www.ctp2.info/database/sprites/cities/civ3african/) I already used for E's Civ3-city sprites.

It was really hard work to find, identify, and compare all the sprites from different sources. So I figured it would be useful for potential modders to create a "database-aligned" sprite collection (http://www.ctp2.info/download/DatabaseAlignedUnitSprites.zip) (ca. 50 MB), i.e. a folder containing all the sprites numbered according to the database. This should make it somewhat easier to select the unit sprites one wishes to use in a mod/scenario. As long as the sprite limit is still in effect it will still be necessary to move sprites above the limit down the list ... but who knows what the SourceCodeProject will bring :expect:.

Of course it would be much cooler being able to use the complete sprite collection without the hassle of renumbering/replacing items :D.

I was unable to find some sprites mentioned by The Immortal Wombat in post #61, namely pos. 1, 4, 5 and 6 from this image:

http://apolyton.net/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=163153&stc=1&d=1250022814

And I could not create new images -- with white background -- of gu067 (Javlineer) and gu072 (Zulu Warrior) because SpriteEdit threw some "animation block" error when trying to open the sprites.

If anyone knows about (or has) sprites I missed: please share them!

Ah, yes: since I am not an expert in WW2 military equipment (or any military equipment :cute:) I added useful Wikipedia links to most of the sprites (displayed on their respective detail pages under "More information" -- e.g. the Valentine (http://www.ctp2.info/database/sprites/units/land/armoredvehicles/gu376.shtml)).

Wow, great work BB :cool::b:

This reminded me I still need to update the archive of my Eastern Front units in the 'Poly directory. I just fixed the shield position on most of the units.

I've added the updated zip to the WePlayCiv directory (since they let me upload more than 500KB there ;)).

http://www.weplayciv.com/forums/downloads.php?do=file&id=155

Either I can update the 'Poly entry myself, or Martin can download the new zip from WPC and upload it to 'Poly's server himself. (I assume this would be better).

Wow

Thank you! :cooool:

added the updated zip to the WePlayCiv directory

Thank you again -- I should probably sign up over there, too.

update the 'Poly entry

:b: I tried to upload the file, but the system wouldn't let me (one should always read the instructions in the first place). It can't be updated btw, because it's brand new and totally innovative :D

I just noticed that I misinterpreted the file upload/update section in Maq's post :shifty:.

NM -- there's no urge regarding the complete*) sprite collection as long as there is a download link (http://www.ctp2.info/download/DatabaseAlignedUnitSprites.zip). :D

---
*) Not as complete as it should be since pos. 1, 4, 5 and 6 from the above mentioned image are still missing -- it would be great if IW or someone else could post them eventually :).

I hope I have done everything correctly. But now you should be able to correct anything else yourself.

(I assume this would be better).

Well, that was faster.
