After much delay I am here to announce the begining of the new Official Apolyton Call to Power 2 Multiplayer Registry. The purpose of this registry is to help MP players of CTP2 locate other players whom they can match wits against. This should make it easier for new people to find gamers to play against and hopefully it will help those of us who are old-pros to find new and interesting opponents. So please take the time and fill in the registry form.
The form below is a standardized format that should be used by everyone; doing so will make it easier of everyone to read and will help make the registry more useful for everyone. Here is the format (I've included my own info as a way of illistrating):

6) I started playing Civ when Civ2 came out and I loved it, i then played CtP1 but didnt buy it for ages because i said i would wait for Civ3 (yes idiotic to say the least since Civ3 came out 3 yrs later) I got Civ2 Test of Time when it came out (which is an absolute piece of crap) I then finally got ctp1. Then CtP2 came i so I got that and then finally after REALLY looking forward to it I bought Civ3, and was absolutely disappointed with it and stopped playing all civs for around a year. I then came back here and seen all the amazing modding that was going on here and the virtually stagnant (other than new graphics) Civ3 modding that wasnt going on. And thats it I play CtP2 cause its the best Civ game out there by far and its getting better all the time (did i mention Civ3 is crap??)

Short player information: i started playing Civ2 several years ago but i fell in love with CTP2 ;). This game is really cool but i never had the chance to play it on multiplayer modus for I am playing on Macintosh. The only online gaming service for Mac, Gameranger, does not support CTP2, so I did never meet anybody to play with though i played Civ2 often (Gameranger does support Civ2) there. Now I am just curious if I could find some playmates for CTP MP here ....

I played manytimes in hotseat civ2 with friends chess players. Now I have at home CTP2 also.

The MP servers are scewed up and will cause you pain if you try to use them. The only way to play MP currently is with the 'poly edition and PBEM.
