Team Banana : Qin Shi Hunag (Ind/Pro) of China : 9 players
OK, what do we know about Team Banana? Please post below, or amend, the following posts if you know anything about the civ in question, individual team members, or their style of play, etc etc. The more info we can get the better we will be able to deal with them when the time comes for action.

In my opinion, a rather new MP player in civ4. I don't expect innovative stuff from him. Is rather busy in real life, so I don't think we'll be hearing much of him ingame.

It is good/bad that they have got some new team members.
In the original C4 Demogame Team Banana made some really bad decisions in regards to city placement, defensive units (as in none) not hooking up militry resources............
Most importantly they believe a huge lie from another team - which ultimately cost them their civ.

Which team lied to them?
There were ongoing diplo discussions with AC - which I believe AC never had any intention of keeping - it was purely delaying tatics until AC's Chokunus came across the border and attacked.
As a late joining member of Banana (who admittedly was not involved in all the diplo leading up to this) it seemed pretty obvious what was about to happen.
The rest of Banana did not until the DoW.
The rest is history.
So AC did not break any agreement - but they were not being forthright in their negotiations - which was and is their perogative - the problem was Banana believed all of it.
I should add that I have since joined AC.
I do not think AC did anything wrong - they broke no agreements - they just "played" Banana extremely well.

Banana actually lost the game with 2nd city placement:
Late,very far, not very good.
AC just turn a slow defeat in a quick one.

Since we have no desire to lose I think we can help each other.
We help them to lose and they help us to win.
We should rename them 'Team Lemming' :cute:

The key part of this is if PAL is to be believed. At this point we do not believe PAL.

Banana is/was about roleplay and having fun.
While we were getting slaughtered by AC we had a great time posting nonsense reports about how well we were doing.
They were however very honest in that game when it came to diplo - so maybe we roll over PAL and either work with :ana: or :trouble: them.
Either - I would not see :ana: as a threat (no matter how grumpy EPW gets).
