Our other thread narrowed the choices to either France or China.
China has the historical distinction of being the first to cultivate the glorious banana, while the French....well they have a nice Banana-esque looking flag.

China:
Mao Zedong - Expansive/Protective
Qin Shi Haung- Industrious/Protective
UU:Cho-Ko-Nu-Replaces Crossbowman, inflicts collatoral damage
UB: Pavolon- Replaces theatre/+25% culture
Starting Techs:Agriculture Mining.

It should be noted that China defeated us in the Civ4 democracy game, and they used Cho-Ko-Nu's to boot. They are very powerful.

French:
De Gaulle-Industrious/ Charismatic
Napoleon-Organized, Charismatic
Louis XIV- Creative, Industrious
UU: Musketeer, 2 move Musketman, rather week UU
UB:Salon, free artist for observatory
Starting Techs:Wheel, Agriculture

I think the French leaders have better traits overall because both Chinese leaders are Protective.

Since they want a whole list, I'll give you my whole list.

1. Qin Shi
2. Louis XIV
3. Mao Zedong
4. Napoleon
5. De Gaulle (Sorry, I just can't stand that nose!)

Thanks for taking over organizing us for the time being.
If needed, I'll step up and be a turn player when the game starts, if we're still short warm bodies.

Oh, in general, I like the Chinese UU/UB better. If we wanted to request a custom config, I'd be all for Louis XIV as Sun King of China. I think we're allowed to choose custom leaders for civ.

Let's limit leader/civ discussions to, say, China and France, eh?

It looks like unrestricted leaders is a no go, so no France flag with a Chinese leader.
