I used to use Nero, but then they stuffed it with all these useless multimedia features that install a crapload of codecs and DirectShow filters and change the merit levels of my carefully selected existing set, so I don't want to use it anymore. All I need is something to burn data onto blank DVDs. What to use?

Try getting yourself a nice steady girlfriend, and I'm sure your need to "burn data onto blank DVDs" will be drastically reduced.

I still use Nero for burning, but Playful likes Roxio.

I use dBpowerAmp for ripping and bit conversion, but they have a burning program.

You kidding? Then I'd need not only a DVD burning program, but also some sort of physical security system to ensure that the burned DVDs don't fall into the wrong hands :scared:

Sonic works fine for me but I rarely burn DVDs. so my advice is of questionable, if any, value.

I've heard good things about Sonic.
