Connection/Game availability status.
The more informed we are the smoother and faster the game will run. :)

Same here, Calysium have camped in the game after their turn and seem to have an incorrect firewall setup which is conflicting with other teams.
Is it possible for Elucidus or Platy to nudge them so we can get these turns done??? :D

yes - but my big problem is that I spent the winter in Florida and I am waiting for my IQ to recover. :cute:
As to the port issue - thanks for the suggestion Niessuh. Yes - it is open. But I have had similar issues in other games, both pitboss and MP. Working to try and resolve them. May take a hammer to this router and buy and new one. Now that's a technbical solution.:b:

OKay, PAL was the turn I loaded off of, if they did anything they have to redo it, but that shouldn't be an issue.
I think I will make this a weekly event, so I can save the game myself and avoid these problems. Should be pretty seemless then.

ZargonX, what connection problem are you having exactly? Everyone else seems to be connecting right, so there might be something wrong with the IP or something. Can you PM me with how you're connecting right now, and maybe we can work something out in terms of troubleshooting this either tomorrow or maybe over the weekend if necessary?

If you are having a warning about version differences, please ensure you have patched your copy of BtS. The patch affects Warlords (although probably in a minimal way).
If you don't have BtS, I'm not sure what to do at the moment. There is not a 'patch' for Vanilla (which seems to be what affects warlords) at the moment.

Either way I'll have a southern cross autosave at substantially more hours left to play that I can load up tonight if we need more hours. I'd expect to be able to do that around 5 to 6 hours from now, if huygen/goonies need to plan their play schedule. I will reload to last turn's souther cross autosave if Huygen hasn't played by then.

We are coaching a new player to take over for the Goonies. The enthusiasm is there; the experience isn't.
Let's him a few turns to get his feet under him. He has shown to be a reliable pbme player - so that is a positive sign.

I can accept that, but where is he? And is this really the time and the place to teach n00bs how to play? It's not that I don't want him to play, but it's like when you're playing board games and suddenly one player ups and leaves and then his little brother takes over and you have to spend an hour explaining the rules and who is who and what is what...
