View Full Version : Possible interruption of surveypoint e-mail

surveypoint.com is moving servers this weekend, so there's a chance mail may stop coming through depending on how the name servers shake out. I don't really understand this stuff, but I do know ISPs are going to have to start sending to different virtual addresses and that scares me. ;)

Hopefully it won't be a problem, but just in case, I'm going to send this to teamsarantium@gmail.com (copying the admins). Will wait for confirmation from PN that he's okay with his e-mail being included.

There's a possibility our usual surveypoint address will get disrupted this weekend by a server move, so over the next few days could you also send the save to some backup addresses? Hopefully it won't be a problem, but it would be a good idea just in case.

Polarnomad and I play much of the turns, so it should probably be covered by sending to us at kloreep@gmail.com and strenno@hotmail.com

Thanks. :)

It seems the mailing lists won't make the move to the new server, so I'll have to recreate them manually. I have all your registration info so all I have to do is re-enter stuff, but there definitely will be a period, however short, where anything sent to the mailing list address won't go anywhere.

Sent to Team Sarantium's gmail account:

c4dgmerc@surveypoint.com should be completely functional again. :) You can resume sending the save there.
