that mountain range looks like a good line of defense for anybody able or in the need to hold it. otherwise lets hope our warrior will survive this little lion incident :P

- we are inbound for buddhism? :D

We beat the lions without taking any damage, but the bears moved south one space. The best choice would seem to be moving to 8.

I will wait 2 hours before playing.

Looks good. What next?

EPW
August 11, 2006, 14:16
Sorry for delay.

The bear has now moved into our path for the hut. And to complicate things further, theres an alpha cent. Scout 2 turns away from the hut as well.

Theres 30% odds of beeting the bear, I think we should risk it and try to get the hut.

We are already at 24 hours, So I'm only going to wait a few more.

Heres a Pic:

I dont like the odds

lets wait one to see if the bear will attack us on the hill

or can we fit going 9,7

EPW
August 11, 2006, 15:20
If we wait its likely AC will get it.

Daddy-O
August 11, 2006, 16:06
It's your call. At 30% success there's 70% risk of death. Then again there is a hut to tip.

Feel free to do as you wish.

1 for, 1 against, 1 neutral, tie goes with our Great Leader.
I'll fortify on the hill.

Addled Platypus
August 12, 2006, 02:56
if AC scout goes to the hill or tries to flank the hill, bum rush the bear and hope for the best

Daddy-O
August 12, 2006, 22:50
Neutral - no. Ambivalent - maybe.

I'm for killing, but I'm kinda drunk...

...I'm also for not being killed, I guess it's kind of a wash...

EPW

Our warrior was killed by the bear, there were no moves to make, so turn was sent on.

Settler is completed next turn, we must decide on city location.

Daddy-O
August 17, 2006, 09:12
I just knew that being decisive was a mistake. If only we pondered longer, looked for more options, maybe asked the bears what they thought - maybe our hapless warrior could have lived a bit longer.

escort settler and heads toward the stone

name the city after the warrior...or the bear ??

Didn't Jebediah Springfield fight a bear?

He was also believed to have once killed a bear with his bare hands. Modern history, however, recently uncovered evidence that the bear in fact probably killed him.

from episode 7G07
http://www.snpp.com/episodes/7G07.html

I vote to name the town "Jebediah". True, there is not a banana reference but the death by bear is fitting. If it must be banana related - "Jebediah's Banana Stand".

Addled Platypus

LOL, I change my vote

Jebediah Banana Stand !!

can we have a name that long ?

you know it's funny that I was thinking Jebediah's Banana Stand, as I was reading your post, and then... there it was! Amazing!
