You should be pleased... the delay should have given you enough time to decide if it is worth it for (judging from the forums). what you get:
1. Inferior graphics to CIVII MGE
2. No multiplayer option in Extended Game
3. A Fantasy and a SciFi Scenario (which not everyone is interested).
4. It cost nearly 38 pounds in the UK
(It might still be worth getting, but better to wait until the price drops)
