[PBEM] Boom!

Basically, I am looking for several opponents for a variant rule PBEM. :)

Here's the idea: you can only build units that either:

1. Can't attack (workers, settlers, explorers, missionaries) -OR-
2. Are siege units (catapult, cannon, artillery) -OR-
3. Are naval units -OR-
4. Are aerial units

And the only available victory is conquest. :evilgrin: So, we would have to duke it out with a whole lot of bombardment. :evil:

All the other rules standard - you can build whichever buildings you wish, etc. But you have to comply with the unit rules, else you will be disqualified. :cute:

Who's with me? :cool:

PS: I'm looking for a 4-person game on a smallish map probably quick setting, but this is up for discussion, of course. Basically, I don't want the game to take a year or two, it'd be sweet to be done in a few months. :cute:

Corossol, yes, I was thinking 'no barbs' would be a wise choice for this game. :)

Canuck, you can take cities with siege weapons. In several games, I've taken down entire cities of backwards nations with nothing but cannons.

Troll, no, the archer is not for barbs. There are no barbs. The archer is there because we are starting in classical era and not in ancient, so it is given to you by default.

Yes, like Gramps said, Succession Game. Basically, a single player game with several players, where one player plays, say, ten turns, and then it's on to the next one, in succession. :) For some reason, they aren't very popular here, at 'Poly, but I am having quite a blast playing them over at the other site. :hmmm:

BTW, see, I told you that early point lead meant nothing. We are now switching up the order pretty much every turn. A couple turns ago I was first, now I'm last. And I won't be surprised if it changes again. Really this early, especially on non-ancient starts, it doesn't matter much what your score is compared to others.
