Well, new to PBEM, for CIV IV, that is.
I seem to miss out on getting in on the ground floor, so to speak. So perhaps someone putting one together could just grab me and put me in. :D

I'll play too. I've played SMAC and Civ3 PBEM, but this would be my first Civ4 PBEM. I've been looking for a normal game to get in to be my first.
So shall we keep it simple, with 4 humans, a couple AIs and default settings? Who's gonna start it?

Ok, but 5 should be plenty. No AI then? What map size?
I guess I can try starting it, if you all can send me your emails, either here, or to my address below. Also include your time zone, so there can be somewhat of a sensible sequence, and what Civ/Leader you want to be.

Any ideas for a catchy game name?

DSYoungEsq at Msn.com here.
Catchy name. Hmmmm.
Slaughter Fields?
Bombs Away?
Hattie is a Hottie?:D
Personally, I love huge maps, but for quick interaction, I suggest a normal map size.
Time zone here is EST (that's New York City time).

Ok, so a couple AI's on the 3rd level (the one where everything is even), and a normal sized continents map?

Slaughter House 5 would be neat if we got 5

Slaughter House? But I'm playing Gandhi! Oh well.
Hey how about "Survive Style 5+" (obscure movie reference)
BTW I like Huge maps too. Maybe we can settle for "large" ?
Let's get this thing started :)

Alright, we're just waiting on g_storrow, if he's still in. I'll probably start it tomorrow night, so hopefully he gets his info to me in time. If not, we can just add another AI.
So, large map. Would we want maybe 3 AI then, to make it a total of 8 players? Or would a total of 6 or 7 be better, to not kill anyone off too early?
I like Slaughter House 5... though I hope there isn't a lot of slaughtering being done, unless I'm the one doing it. ;)

Well, since we're doing a large map, I'd prefer to keep it at 5 players, for the sake of taking forever to finish. If everyone else wants one more, then ok, but I have everyone's info and will start the game tonight.

Folks I am in a lot of games
Please help me as I am old old as dirt
Please put in the email subject line the game name and the year of the save
Whatever the host calls this game is ok by me
this way you can track it in the emails and save game folder which CIV IV creates automatically:b:

I set it in-game as Slaughter House 5. Do the auto-sends include the name and year in the subject?
