After installing the patch I've been having an incorrect version error when I join a multiplayer game. It only happens when I join a game and get to the game lobby, and the message appears that says my version does not match the host's version. Anyone else been having this problem that downloaded the patch from apolyton?

The error message appears and I can click ok, and continue on to start and play the game for awhile, but most of the time the game will crash after a few minutes of playing.

Other than uninstalling the game and reinstalling, and just getting the patch from auto-update, I don't see much else I can do. I'm just wondering if anyone else who downloaded the patch from apolyton is having the same problem.

Thanks!

I had a similar problem... I couldn't even get into the lobby... the game would just lock up when i entered my password...

solution? New login-account... works like a charm WITH THE PATCH for me now...

Reinstalled and downloaded the patch with the autoupdater, and had the same problem. Tried making a new account, same problem. I'm also getting the same sound problem when I'm joining a game as I had before. No one else seems to have the different version error message though... how frustrating...

I get the different version error message, but I can still play just fine. I just ignore the message.

I get same message but can play ok. The patch is very buggy I am afraid.

Thanks for the replies guys.. I wasn't sure if the problem was affecting the actual game or not, or if the installation was messed up somehow or something. But yeah it doesn't seem like I can play very long without it crashing.. it seems like a lot of game ending bugs made it through somehow.. and I gotta say I'm slightly disapointed.
