PBEM, wierd one

:hmmm: So I am about to install the game, I am bored with civ3, well not- bored... but I want the good stuff man!

I have a wierd PBEM question- Can you start a game, say hot seat or over the net live- do 50 turns with your friends, and then say- Convert the game to PBEM, thus avoiding the really quick turns and playing the longer ones by email, it seems to me that this would friggin' rock, any help?

don't think you can do that unfortunately.

one way group of us figure we should do is set up a PBEM game but start it a night we can all be on for a few hours. Then everyone just quickly do their turns so the initial "stup turns" pass quickly.

That's just something they really should implement to make PBEM a more attractive option, even though I am going to do it anyway!
