I've played Civ for years, as a fanatic of the original and a little more lukewarm to the sequels, but one thing I've never really done is play multiplayer. Civ 3 didn't really allow for it, (the base game anyway,) and back when I played 2 all I could really do was hotseat with the one friend who actually knew how to play. I've played a few private games of 4 now, and I'm thinking I might try hopping onto Gamespy tonight or the near future. I'm not looking for grandiose strategy advice, but is there an FAQ somewhere that would help me know what to expect when making the transition to MP, particularly with regard to 4? (Yeah, probably not much specific to 4 other than how to use the lobby, but that's still good to know.)
