civilopedia in modded games?

After loading my own mod, i can access the civilopedia just fine in the main menu and it reflects all the changes i made. However, while playing a custom game, the icon in top right corner for civilopedia is gone.

How can i change that?

That shouldn't happen. Did you modify any Python files?

nope.

But.... i just loaded the game again to recheck - this time didn't load a save, but instead started a new game, and its there again.

I've noticed that the Civilopedia icon dissapears if i have a city selected, then comes back when its no longer selected...maybe that's what happened here?

It disappears sometimes for some reason...

You can use F12 to access the Civilopedia without the button though.
