Hmm not sure how much help I would be I came in right around the Bobian War.

Did markG give us any idea how long the history should be or an example?

UnO is REALLY good at this type of thing. But Octobers are busy for him. He posted a story at MZO maybe that will help.

My latest version of the history was wiped out with a reformatting after a virus. I believe I have an older one covering about half the time I was historian that is uneditted somewhere but I'd have to look for it.

All is not lost though... I've spent some time working on a bit of a Civ 4 easter egg that should be unveiled before too long. ;)
