gleamed from several threads, here is what I am thinking about
All religons represented by a civ
Your Civ -no religon
UPDATE
Must conquer and then hold all holy cities of every religon for one turn
no razing of other cities
maintain an open border
Civs and Religons
Judaism- Greeks
Christianity- US
Islam-Malinese
Hinduism- India
Buddhism- Mongols
Confudianism- Japanese
Toaism- China
Bananaism -your civ(French)
Settings so far
Large/Huge Pangea (of course)
three cities to start for all civs with appropriate relgious building built
three cities for your civ
complaints/comments please

Sounds too easy. Could end up with just one city that has all the other religions and then it would be the only one you have to capture.

Perhaps simply must capture the HOME city of each religion (or of a particular number of religions) ... :)

that is what I am here for
ideas big and small
another idea would be to have your civ be just about in the middle of all the civs
let me hear them

What I undesrtand is: conquering one city of each other civ. What's the point?

Make it the Holy Cities. And you have to hold them, _and_ no razing ^^
Now there's some challenging fun :D

Clearly you need to mod in Bananaism as a religion. :)

If it works in a way that implicates the religion feature, I'm interested in playing it as a AU/competition scenario. But I agree with LDiCesare that what's being proposed might not trigger the AI to respond in any way different from Civ3.

sounds a bit contrived - religion in this game seems to be yet another mechanism for winning rather than a basis for a mod or scenario.
