The C3C Democracy Game Welcomes You!

Hello, and welcome to the C3CDG. We are the one-and-only Team Democracy Game using C3C at the Apolyton Civilization Site.

To facilitate your entry into this game, please follow these instructions.

1. Decide on a team to join. Each team is different, being composed of different members and often composed around a common theme. Also, each team organises itself differently; some have a single turnplayer who makes most of the decisions and only major ones are voted on, while others vote on a lot of issues, and have many roles for players. It's a good idea to look through this forum first and see who's on what team and how they seem to run; check for the original thread here (http://apolyton.net/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=128523), along with the various team public threads, in this forum.

2. PM the leader of that team (the first name listed after each team). That person can add you to their civgroup and give you access to their forums, if they choose (and if not, pick another team!).

It seems I am the only member of my Civgroup. Would someone please add the other members of my team, or at least tell me how I can add them? I'm new to this leadership thingy ;)

It's resent to ya. If you don't get the second one, i'll email it. ;)

Oh yeah, it's in a pm called "Fwd: Re: News Item" or something like that...

I was wondering if I could be an observer for this game (i.e. have access to all the private team forums). I would not say a peep.

When you delete your PM's be sure to empty the folders that save every PM you ever sent or recieved. Evidently you can only store about 300 of these at one time. I should have burned them onto a CD or something. :(

Yeah, theres more than one person i'm desperately trying to PM, but their mailbox is full despite them claiming theres nothing in it...

Select first the "Show messages form:" and instead the "last 20 days", choose there "from the beginning" and then select all + delete.

Repeat this for the Sent items and the Message tracking and you should have a clean Private Message box.

also it might be an idea if there is someone you can talk to wrt private questions etc like if a bug comes up or something.


Also do people know of scenarios likely to create bugs, I seem to remember tech for luxury or resource deals screwing things up a few times...

As far as I'm concerned Dom should have access to all forums. As shown in the PTWDG it is very nice to have someone (Trip in that case) that has access to all forums and can troubleshoot problems that crop up.

Since this seems to be the topped info thread, could you add which team is which civ? Apparently, the Babylonians were the only team with the forethought to name themselves after their civ, and it's hard to connect civ with team. :p

Well it used to be that you just typed "/me" followed by whatever you wanted to say. Not sure if that still works or is the way to do it.

Let's give it a try...
