Scenario help

Can someone point me in the right direction for making a scenario? :) I want to make it with the playtest version if that makes much of a difference. Its just to get me familiar with with modding and such.

EPW open up the cheat mod in game and make you map then save it in the cheat mod box as a scenario then in the ctp directory you can find the folder and insert slic.

I dont think EPW is gonna be writing slic :D or maybe?

I learnt by opening almost all the files for the game and looking at what it all does in-game and also looking at http://apolyton.net/ctp2/modification/

Yes Doncaster is a great place to travel through on the train. Besides, my sig isnt saying theres anything wrong with it, i wouldnt want to live there though. I live around there so i can slag it off.

Anyone have any ideas for a scenario? I'm not good at making things from scratch; as in a completely fictional story. At least I can place cities :D

Question: can I modify all the values in terrain.txt without trouble? And will it apply to the scenario when placed in scen000\default\gamedata ?

and EPW you can put almost anything in the scenario folder with exception to some things. terrain.txt is one thing you can change look in the Alex the great folder.

I suggest you pick a subject youre really interested in, so youll feel at least some sense of enjoyment from entering and testing all the data.

I just did not know there were ctps That close to me. as Technically I live in the Barnsley area.

and EPW it's best to do something your into were you can get graphics easily
