What exactly is the blue and red bar for?
How many posts made by that country and how many registered for that country?

Red bar = users, blue bar = country post count. That's what I can figure out from comparing the UK and UN; almost the same posts, so some blue bars, but the UK, with more users, has a much longer red bar.

Exactly :b:

On the other hands, there are way too many 'weird' countries I've never heard before in that list  *shame_on_me*

My country was the bestest until those other three went and ruined it. :(

Come and join us on the Cocos Islands.

Highest average pc goes to St Vincent and the Grenadines ...

There are almost 300 users that claim to be from my country, and yet their cumulative post count is about 2/3 of mine alone... :hmmm: Maybe I should show some national pride and select the flag... OTOH, they are probably fake OT spammers for the most part - no hurry to join their ranks.

Ooh, I hadn't noticed that one. If I was alone I'd still beat silly old St Vincent. I think I'll stay in Gibraltar: the flag goes nicely with my avatar.

Look at all the pretty flags. Hmmm, I simply must get an atlas and find the place I'm now from.

It's one of the English Channel Islands.

/me contemplates threatening other posters with the Mongolian flag to change it, preferably to one of the other highs (they're lowering my average, damnit!) ;)

The European posters (including my good self :D) seem to be extraordinarily prolific :D

Speaking of which, is there any reason that some countries have n names in the list (for example, Dauphin and myself for Cocos Islands) yet the sort by country figure lists n+1 people. Who is the missing person and why are they missing?

vovan

I imagine that's because for a country to exist, there needs to be at least one member that has that country. Hence, there is a dummy member in each country.

Skanky Burns

But then there are some countries that have 1 real member without any dummy members.

EDIT: Montserrat and Turkmenistan

Then they must be the dummy! :D

USA! USA!

More accurate would be a sorting by time zone. People may fly weird flags, but they usually set the clocks right.

Daylight saving makes that inaccurate though. For most of the year I am -1 hour from Poly's Sydney time, for the other part of the year I am +1. I have yet to actually use Sydney time. ;)
But yes, it is more accurate than the voluntary flag arrangemement I would guess.

Sydney time is permanently set to happy hour.

I miss the all night cheap drinking. :(

I don't. But this way I always know what time it is here and in Guernsey--just in case it ever comes up.

Free drinks whilst gambling is good. That is 'til you get drunk and decide to bet the house.

I used to use that flag last fall. I don't remember you conquering it from me, but I vow now to take it back!:naughty:

Ohoops, it was 1/4 due to that bug that deselects the Country if you update your options.
