Most of these are a conversion from Civ3. I've based it on Martin's CityMod2 so it should be compatible with that and Cradle. (Except I didnot replace the green palace cities yet, everything else has changed as well as hints to other upcoming cities)

Place them in the default\graphics\sprites folder BACK UP your originals!

download E's BETA Civ3 cities for Ctp2 (http://apolyton.net/upload/view.php?file=2610_E-cities-Beta1.0.zip)

You can see an example (you've probably seen it before)

Thanks
Firaxis (most Civ3 Cities)
Snoopy (For the enlarged Civ3 Cities)
Emperor Xerxes (for the Egyptian cities)
Arne (African Cities)
Big Huge Games (For the India Cities only one so far)
Ensemble Studios (For AoK cities coming soon)

Where do I extract it to?

Edit: Is it graphics\sprites?

The city expansion causes problems, they coverup the tiles around them not allowing you to see tile improvements. They also expand over water as you can see in the picture I attached.

Thanks EPW!

I see I'll have to add a fringe of plains tile or something aroundthe edges of the city, it may give a landfill look wjen it rolls into the sea

I do see that the larger growing Civ3 style cities could be a problem. Granted you could click on the tile to see what improvs are there but that may take too much time and not worth the eye candy. I'm going to have to think on this one...

thanks

And you shouldn't do so. So what should be the new sprite limit?

I have to say the new green palaces do add a nice touch and I have seen some graphics that I can use to touch them up....

BUT if you are thinking off adding my cities and retaining the CityMod graphics (a good idea I think) I've created about 104 new city sprites so on top of the ones we are at 350 would be a good number I think.

Anothrer thing, some of the city graphics aren't centered properly. They also coverup units. See screenshot:

I'll add it the list...fortunately sprite editor lets me fix that.
