a.k.a. Dreamfall :D
I just saw this (http://pc.gamespy.com/pc/dreamfall/516068p1.html) E3 article about the game, and it sounds promising, even though it doesn't tell much... but I like what I hear :b:
Does any of you know anything else about this game?

Apparently it's now an 'ACTION-adventure' game. And seemingly is set in the past.

No, it was set 10 years in the future... that's how I read it...

I guess the dreams are set much in the past ;). I don't see any coke machines or anything like that :D.

This worries me.
After what happened to Sam & Max, I'm not holding my breath for a true adventure game.

Me too! Let's hope the gameplay is the same as the fine original.

Well it could work. After all, games like Beyond Good and Evil are Action-Adventures. Dreamfall's makers say it is more adventure than action... let us see how that plays out.

I've just found out the official site www.dreamfall.com is now up'n'running :)
It shows some interesting stuff... I like the thing about having 3 different endings for the game... they've also got 3 different characters to play, and now there's 3 worlds... :)

Hmm, fingers still crossed. :)

Yeah, I hope there's not too much action in it...
Would be wise for them to make it optional, so those who wants the action part can get it, those who don't just gets the computer to do the action part for them ;)

The genres tend to gel with difficulty. An action game with puzzle elements usually makes more sense than an adventure game with action elements. Still, I'm going to keep an eye on this one. :)

There's a lot of talk about the action-part on this site:

The page is a little bit cramped... they've got lots of stuff, but not everything is about Dreamfall, most parts are though :)
The most interesting things is at the bottom of the page...
