Sure, that will be greatly appreciated. The rest of the world, including Australia, have to wait for another week at least. Get real harsh with the game if you have to. After all the rest of us really wants to know what we are getting... although at this stage I think I'll probably get it regardless of what the reviews say

I was going to get it if Babbages out here had it, but not only did they not have it but they have no record of it coming in, so I guess I'll order it online or something. Does anyone no where low prices for it are? |

I got the same thing from my local babbages....Tell them to do a search on "Call to Power" It will come up with both CTP1 and 2....Then they will say..."Gee...It should have been in today! Shipping has been screwy lately, want to reserve a copy..." Needless to say I did and I hope that they have it in tommorow. I'm going nuts! I bought SMAC this summer because I wanted to try something other than CIV2 and enjoyed it until I realized it wasn't enough for me ( I liked it) And the anticipation for this game is killing me now! Keith

I called my local Electronics Boutique today and was told that they wouldn't be getting CTP2 for at least a week. I was bored so I went over there anyway, and what do you know - there it was, sitting on the front shelf. So now I too have a copy. ------------------

Believe it or not, I picked it up last night at EB here in Jackson, MS for $49.99. Usually we're in the 2nd or 3rd wave of shipments as far as new games go. What's more unbelievable is that I only played it for about 10 minutes last night! WOW! Talk about some self-restraint You can bet I'll be hammering it all night after I get off work today though. |

I pre-ordered it with Gamestop (online store-front for Babbage's and Software etc) and requested over-night shipping so that I would get it the same day my local store(s) get(s) it. According to the tracking summary it should be delivered today to me at work. w00t. Saves me a trip to the store and ensures me a copy- for 10 bucks extra of course. And even though I imagine the déluge of reviews/comments/critique/praise the game will get in the forums here, I'll post my opinion if you d00ds would like.I've got an all week 2v2 (with some AI civs for good measure) scheduled next week with 3 of my friends. Wish me/us luck.

Got mine last night. $49.99 at EB. That's what I get for not shopping around...The good news: I got the last copy, so the game was "sold out" at the store, which shows higher-than-expected popularity. The bad news: The clerk told me they only got 2 copies. Also pre-ordered Black & White at the same time... |

The way specialty stores like EB and Babbage's get games in a few days before the bigger stores (Best Buy, CompUSA, etc) is by getting a small number right away and express shipping a handful of copies to each of their stores. They should get bigger shipments in around the same time the other chains are getting their copies.

I had a copy on hold at a small store for a cheap price,missed the store closing by a few minutes yesterday. Got there today and the BAS*ARDS sold my copy and had none left, so I stopped by CompUSA and they had a whole shelf of them at $49.99.I was surprised to see they had any. |

I asked the gameshop dealer today about the CTP-2 release-date in Sweden. He said 8:th december. Aaarrrgh! Another 3 weeks of waiting. |
