Wow...
great Intro (definitely the best intro in all parts of civ yet),
great graphics (which are on my 23" flatscreen @home even better than at the gamescom)..
and some surprises...
I let my scouts explore some ruins...what did they find? A weapons cache, which they immediately equipped, turning my scouts into an archery unit (looks like a scout isnīt determined to stay a scout forever)...
oh and Augustus speaks with an italian accent (at least in the german version) and sounds a little...

Multiplayer: gripes, praises and general first impressions

Before I even get started, I should preface this by saying that I haven't yet played even 1 turn of Civ5 SP. Immediately after work my friend and I installed and began playing MP duels. Furthermore, I have not yet played past the Medieval era. But after a good handful of 1v1 MP rounds this evening, here are my thoughts.
