Call to Power II 3 *

The second civ game from Activision. Quote from the official site:

"Call to Power II was designed from a lot of feedback from those who played Civilization: Call to Power. We incorporated the most common requests, including a major upgrade to the diplomacy system, a more realistic combat system, national borders, automated city mayors, and a number of improvements to the game's interface. You can find out more about these changes on this web page."

Galactic Civilizations 5 *

 Introduction

Galactic Civilizations is a space-based 4X strategy game in which players take the role of leader of humanity. Up to 5 other computer-controlled races, each with their own in-depth background and motives will be vying for galactic supremacy.

While the game is a turn-based strategy game, it has been designed with maximum replayability in mind, with each game feeling like its very own epic story. The depth of GalCiv is a key factor in making the game universe seem alive with the competing alien players acting intelligently based on their culture and the dictates of gameplay.

Master of Orion 3 2 *

The wait is over! Official description:

In Master of Orion 3, the sequel to one of the best-loved strategy games of all time, players assume the biggest role ever. No longer do players merely represent petty interplanetary dictators. In Master of Orion 3, players represent the controlling power behind the entire galactic civilization: the dictators, presidents, councils and overlords that come and go are merely a player's pawn. One must use governments and their leaders to secure the destiny of their civilization, to manipulate its policies of freedom and oppression in both foreign and domestic areas. It is not enough to be an able economist or a great captain to succeed in Master of Orion 3; considerable political, administrative and espionage skills must be applied to craft your civilization's glorious chapter in the Annals of Time and Space.

Game Features

* New and improved tactical combat
* "Shipyard" function where players can select and lay out ship components (using 2D blueprints) and optimize their designs
