Apolyton Tile File v1.0 Left click: open entry/Right click: save entry 5 *

To control the add and editing of the important and unique CTP2 tile files, which contain the graphics for terrain and tile improvements. IW and Pedrunn, the firsts to make big changes it, decided to create the Apolyton Tile File. It is a set of graphics that will be needed for various mods.
To visualize the graphics you need TileEdit to open the *.til files.

If you're a modmaker and added new tile improvements to the game yourself which you would like to see included in the Apolyton Tile File (to make your mod more compatible with other mods), please contact Pedrunn, Immortal Wombat, or Locutus, or post in this forum thread.

Better Regard Faces Left click: open entry/Right click: save entry

A sometimes expressed complaint about CtP2 regard faces is that one can barely see the differences between them. The CTP1 ones were much clearer. So Pedrunn converted the CTP1's regard faces to CTP2.
This is actually a total replacement to the CTP2 regard faces. Once it is installed it will work in all mods and scenarios without exception. Even the regular game.
Just unzip it inside the Call to Power 2 base directory.
It will automatically be part of all CTP2 mods in your PC.

CityMod2 (for CTP2) Graphics Pack Left click: open entry/Right click: save entry

This *.zip file contains all the *.tif images (and shadow images) for the new city styles of CityMod2 for CTP2 that are not included in Citymod for CTP2. Why you need this image pack? It is simple, as there is no sprite editor just a sprite make tool for CTP1/CTP2. This means that you have no easy way to modify these sprites except the hard way of making screencaptures of all city styles. This *.zip file contains all the graphics that were made or converted to sprites. It contains also the original palace style of Pinkfriend. And two wall graphics that will help you to put your city graphics on the right spot in combination with the city walls. In addition a *.bat file is included that converts all the city graphics at once and renames them to the final name that is used in CTP2. The renaming procedure is necessary as MAKESPR.EXE isn't able to create sprites with a number higher 99. This file is called MRSPRITE.BAT and it needs the file MRSPRITE.TXT. The file MRSPRITE.TXT is only a renamed version of these Gc0XX.txt. The *.bat file renames the MRSPRITE.TXT to the name that is needed for the according sprite. So this *.bat file reduces also the number of files that you need to create a huge number of sprites.

CivCTP Advance Images Left click: open entry/Right click: save entry

This download contains all CivCTP advance pictures. These images allow you to change the CTP2 age background of most advance pictures, because of two reasons: On the one hand most tech images of CTP2 are taken from CivCTP. They were put on an age background and a shadow was added. On the other hand it is much easier to separate the tech from a pure alpha background as from an age background of CTP2.

CivCTP Building Images Left click: open entry/Right click: save entry

This pack contains all the CivCTP building images. Additional ten blanks like the CivCTP Tech images pack. It is logical to make the pack also for buildings if you made it for the techs, because Activision used also building and unit images for the techs.

MG Message Icons Left click: open entry/Right click: save entry 5 *

This is small graphics bundle which contains 53 new message icons for CTP2. The message icons of the default game are very small, so that it was hard to see the actual symbol on them. The message icons of this packs are larger. They use all the available space in the message box, so that their symbol can be better seen.

Also the number of the message icons is increased now, for instance there is now one for wasted work, one that was missing in CTP2 definitely.

This graphics bundle is mainly intended for modmakers, but it can also be used as a stand alone mod.
