THE CIV3 PBEM FORUM BECOMES CIVILIZED
(11 December 2004, 13:37 | Civilization III PBEM) A sub-forum has been created for Civ3 PBEM to house the bulk of the turn tracking threads. This will allow threads in the main PBEM forum to remain visible on the first page for more than part of a day.

All tracker threads from the last 30 days have been transferred over to the new subforum. Anything of more readable content or general interest has been kept in the main forum. This includes tournament threads, succession games, diplomacy games, and any absence notifications or replacement requests. The main forum should be used for organizing games, with a new thread started in the subforum once it has begun successfully.

I have been asked to assume duties as moderator/newseditor of both forums. Please contact me with your concerns or suggestions. Of course, any of the ubermods may be contacted if all this power ends up going to my head... ;-) - Rommel2D

PBEM CONTINUES TO EXPAND
(10 March 2004, 11:24 | Civilization III PBEM) More and more games being started weekly. If you are looking for a great fun way of playing civ 3 , whether it be PTW or C3C, then pop into the Civ3 PBEM forums and join a game.

There are many variaties, from small worlds to large. From totally random to fully modded. From two player to 6 player games.

No longer do you have to worry about lag or losing connection mid game.

And one of the great things with PBEM is that you can play many games at the same time and this opens you up to many more people and so you get to see quite a few different play styles. - Rasputin
