Speech to the Nation
Speech to the Nation by Ayatollah Xerxes on the 25 November, henceforth
known as Victory Day:
Hear me, citizens of the Empire!
Today our armies have conquered the last city of the foul Zulu people,
and now we stand as masters of the World!
On this day I will tell you the history of our country, so that you
might understand how we evolved, and ultimately conquered the World.
We started as a small nomadic tribe, numbering only ten thousand
citizens. We quickly founded the city known as Persepolis, and explored
the country.
We used our superior intellect to steal new technology from our
barbarian neighbors, who lived in small huts, and we stole their gold
and lured their young men into our massive army. Sometimes we convinced
them to become part of the Empire, and sometimes we ruthlessly crushed
them with all our might.
We quickly percieved that we were alone on the large continent known
as Africa, and we colonized it. Explorers risked their very lives to
travel far and search out strange new lands, and one very productive
explorer, Marco Polo, besought all the civilized nations and exchanged
technologies and made treaties with them. We founded another empire that
we named Siberia, but that was located on the tundra and in dark
forests. We also colonized the large island known as Greenland.
Our technology was far superior than that of our enemies, and we
outnumbered them. In the year 380 A.D after our scholars began counting
the years, a revolution overthrew the goverment and we began the time of
the Democracy. We had colonized the southern part of the continent known
as Europe, whose northern part was inhabited by the foul French, who had
met with other nations behind our backs and signed foul pacts, planning
to destroy us. We waged a few, meaningless wars with them, and time
passed, and in the year 1814 A.D the November Revolution began. This was
began by my father, who had seen the true way and led his followers
against the Democratic goverment. The children of the Democracy had been
taught, that war was evil, and they reacted violently when our armies
were mobilized.
The new leaders taught the true way to the people, and we constructed
mighty armies to smite the enemies. A few years after the Revolution, we
were ready for Jihad. The French and the Celts, our strongest rivals,
inhabited the large continent known as Eurasia, and we did not have to
travel far to smite them.
Our mighty armies sallied forth to engage in battle, and many were
slain. We captured vast numbers of cities, however, but we could not
have won the war without our spies, who infiltrated the cities of the
French, and sought out those, who had seen the true, way, and gave them
monetary strength. Many cities were captured this way, and in A.D 1854,
our armies had vanquished the foul armies of our enemies and we could
begin the Second Jihad, the one fought overseas.
First we crushed the Egyptians, caught on their tiny island outside
Europe, who tried to defend themselves with ancient spearmen.
Now we constructed a mighty army, consisting of Mechanized Infantry,
Howitzers and Armors. Our enemies were the Indians, the Greeks, and te
Zulus. Our spies infiltrated their cities and our airplanes bombed their
people. The War was costly, and many soldiers were slain.
At last, however, our armies have overcome our enemies, and we are the
masters of the world.
Hail the Empire!
