A Cold World Scenario

I always play on Earth to see how things would have turned out if England had taken over, or if Japan and Germany won World War II, but I was surprized at the outcome I found when I led the English to first capture the British isles then to lead them on to a cold war conflict with Russia, Spain and India.

In 1945 my allies the Americans sent a diplomat to me asking for help, the Russians had been bombing their coastal cities with their war ships and attacking their asian colonists. I at first only sent money as I built my civilization on city advances, wonders, and making the people happy, plus I had a nice trade going with Russia, but still I watched them hastily and sent a map of survialance to the Americans, it was no good, by 1960 I was able to get a colony in South America, and Australia, I ran through my cities looking to see if I had the resources to start a long term war as the Russians had a hold on northern europe and asia with allies like Spain holding southern europe and India holding africa and central asia, I realized that with the right amount of force I could inflict maximum damage with minimal forces, or at least as minimal as I could make it.

I quickly built an aircraft carrier and loaded it to the tilt with everything save nukelear munitions, so I launched a air raid on Paris the Russians biggest European city while American ground troops battled the Spanish, after paradropping in soldiers we took Paris and looked North, next we took Rhiems, and finally we turned to Moscow. The Russians however called in backup and our South American Colonies took hits from Indian Submarines, it was the final draw, the only way to stop the war was to pull out all the stops. I had 2 submarines ready to roll, I armed each with 4 nukes and flew 2 more to the front lines, after trying to talk the Russian Alliance into peace only Spain gave way, I signed the treaty and moved the sub to backup the others on the front, I launched an attack nuking the Indian and Russian Capitol, this time they were ready to hear peace talks and eventually accept a pitiful defeat at the hands of the North Atlantic Colition.
