I was playing on Europe as the Germans. I expanded too about 12 cities before I meet the Spanish. We immeditaly became allies in the interest of peace, and knowledge.

Two turns later a Spanish diplomat asked for my presence and was granted. He asked me if I would declare war on the Zulus, at first i refused but they sweetned the pot with 300 dollars. I said yes anyway the Zulus are down in South Africa right( I had forgot i was playing in europe). After i ended my turn a 5 units Zulu army appeared near my southern frontier. And quickly killed my phlanax and took my city. Then another Zulu army appeared on my western city of Hannover. this was just built and had no defenses, they stromed it and i sued for peace. Within the next couple of turns i built 3 chariots and tried to retake Bremen(my souther city) They succeded but the city was gone, all of my Bremens had been killed by the retreating Zulu.

I Vowed to my people never to stop warring against the Zulu. There was a time of quiet hostilites when the Zulu would just throw their men into my city defenses hopelessly. I became a democracy and was the most advanced civilaztion on the globe. My alliance with the Spanish was cancelled but we remained friends. I had a small but technologic superior force. The city of New Bremen had been rebuilt upon the rubble of old Bremen. I had turned a cemetary into a one of my most prosperous cities. During this time of quiet War, My Civilazation prospered under my rule building all except 2 wonders, gaining fast riches thanks to the fruits of democracy, but always remembering the ancient days when the Zulus attacked without mercy.

I had my revenge when i discovered the advance of Advanced Flight, with my air cover my cavalry quickly moved into Hannover( At last after 3000 years of tirranous Zulu rule my Hannovers were free!!) I also conquered two other Zulu cities before the senate signed a cease-fire. During the cease-fire i discovered Mobile Warfare and became allies with the Persians who were having problems with the Carthinigians. They asked for military help and i provided it by giving them Mobile Warfare. This helped but not before the evil Carthage Empire took one of their cities and stole Mobile Warfare. And then gave it to the Zulus. This was the beginning of my "time of troubles".

I did not build any Tanks because all my cities were building improvments and WOW, but what did i need them for my cavarly & bombers almost had a fourth Zulu cities on the ropes. My surprise came two turns later when about 10 Zulu armor fell on my Cavarly killing everyone and only leaving one of my 8 marines bleeding. I quickly rushed to build nuclear missles to halt the Zulu offensive. It was around this time I built the Appolo Program, this was when i saw how big the Zulu were. The strected from Eastern Europe to the map edge. And i also saw about 30 Tanks massed on the border of Hannover. I looked to see how far my 3 nukes were coming only one was a turn away from completion(it was being built in Bremen)I also switched to full-scale military production in all my other cities. I was pumping out marines to defend Hannover from the ruthless Zulus. They were on the outskirts of Hannover when i dropped the first Nuke wiping out there first wave. The next Nuke took out there incoming wave and my third one was dropped on an advancing Zulu column that was going to take my peaceful Spanish neighbors city. This killed the garrison but ultimately saved the city from capture.

The Zulus were continously building more and more armor but my Stealth Bombers took care of them( I didnt want to use Nukes cause i just barely escaped form global warming)I had never changed from Democracy this whole time because my people did not like the fascist type of government(it lasted for about 5 turns so i could war with the Zulus)

In the end the Zulus still remained large and I conquered the Spanish and my allies the Persians conquered the Carthage empire. Together we would embattle the Zulus till the end of time. Evantually beating the Zulus and conquering their lackeys the Russians and the Sioux. We were both democratic and the world was safe from the tyrannous rule of the evil Zulu.
