VIKING SCRIBE #20

I was playing as the Americans on the large, earth map. I wasn't to concerned about barbarians(villages only) or my competitors( the Greeks and Vikings were a world away from North America) so I really built up my cities. Now I, King Alex Erickson, was a nice little king who really enjoyed Wonders of the World! By 1500 A.D I had built the Great Wall, Great Library, Pyramids, Hanging Gardens, Colossus, Oracle, Sun Tzu's War Academy, King Richard's Crusade, Marco Polo's Embassy, and Michelangalo's Chapel. Since I had Marco Polo's Embassy, I could finally talk to the Greeks and Vikings. From a quick glance at the map the Greeks gave me, they were powerful. There zone of control stretched from Spain to Russia to India. A war with the Greeks had left the Vikings kinda puny, but I figured I should let my world peace score rise. Now here comes the big one. The rotten Vikings stole my Atomic theory in 1890s. I got mad so I went and took about 7 of their size 8 cities in Australia. They had moved up to Southeast Asia by now and were growing. I decided not to go start a holy war for no reason against the Vikings. The year is now 1943 and I have a 27% 665 Civilization score. Lucky me, right by my name it says "the Mad."

Hope you liked my Civ2 story
