Red front Mac Read Me. by ³Wulf²

Disclaimer.
I have not playtested this conversion beyond the first turn, I am not very fond of these huge scenarios. Everything should work, but.... 

Installation 
Expand the Redfront.zip file, with ZipIt, Stuffit expander or Mindexpander.
Drop the Red Front folder in the Scenarios folder inside the Civilization II files folder located insider you Civilization II Gold folder.
 









To properly play this scenario, you need to download Delevent from
http://home5.swipnet.se/~w-55684/civ2gold/delevent.html
A version of Delevent is included in the Red Front zip, but there could be a later version.

This is a huge scenario played in 9 installments.  Each installment represents a season in the 1941-1945 war between Germany and Russia. Between installments some changes need to be done.

What to do at the end of an installment (the short version):
1. Save the game when the game tells you to.
2. Select Quit so that Civ 2 goes to the main menu.
3. Run the program Red Front change season
4. Open the save file you saved at 1. 

What to do at the end of an installment (the long version):
Play an installment, when it ends you will be prompted to save your game.
Do this and select quit to go to the main menu in Civ 2. Switch to the Finder and start Red Front change season. This will change the terrain in the game from Summer to Winter or vice versa, and also upgrade units and events. The save file will retain info about events, and it is needed to delete this to insure that the new events are used. This will be done by the program Delevent that should be started by Red Front change season.
When this is done, open your save file in Civ 2.
