"GET CIVILIZED!" Survey Results

We are proud to bring you the official results to the GET CIVILIZED! survey conducted in October of 1997.

Since it has been a while since this particular survey has been online, you may want a reminder. The reason it has taken so long to get the results to you is because I [The Emperor] used this information as the basis of my science fair project this year, entitled Internet Style Customer Profile: "GET CIVILIZED". The Rideau-St. Lawrence Science Fair was held on April 4th, 1998, at the Memorial Center in Brockville, Ontario. There, I recieved 3RD PLACE in my category (Senior Physical Science), and I was also awarded the Bell Canada Information Technology Award. As such, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of those who participated in the survey, and to everyone who has supported this site from its beginnings to those who contiune to support it now. Without you, this survey would not have been possible.

Now it is my turn to return the favour, letting you know how my observations and overall results turned out. This project was a while in the making (7 months) before I [The Emperor] was able to show it off at the Regional Science Fair. For starters, you can click here to read my project summary. I typed it up in Microsoft Word 97, and used its to save the file as hypertext. It may look a little strange, but I [The Emperor] believe it serves its purpose well. From this precis, you are able to read the important points of my project. Also, if you forget the questions to the survey or you never had the chance to see them, you can click here to read them all. They were all multiple choice, to help make it easier to tabulate the results.

And now we come to the good part! =) Below you can click on the links to take you to the various survey results page (I broke them up into sections, based on its content, so it would be easier to take in). From there, if applicable, you may visit some more pages that will display associated graphs with the various pieces of data. These are the graphs that I used on my display board (and is also so for the charts). The graphs are self-explanatory and in full colour.
