Happy 7th birthday Apolyton!
Another year goes by, and Apolyton is still my home on the Web. In fact, it's more of a home than ever.
The most exciting thing during this last year has to be all the news on Civ4. A year ago, we knew almost nothing except that it was being made, now we have seen a few previews, screenshots, even videos from E3. I hope that Civ4 will please the majority of the community and that the Civ4 forums will be buzzing with activity from excited players.
The Call to Power II source project is making progress thanks to the relentless work of many. An excellent mod, Ages of Man, was also released at Apolyton for CtP2, a mod that truly refreshes the game and feels if not quite like a sequel, then definitely like a very good expansion pack.
The site has growed in this past year, and it's still a place where I am happy to return each day. I wish many happy returns to Apolyton, and keep on civving.
