What: Community Involvement Award
Why: Awarded annually to the best of the best in the online Civilization II community, Apolyton Civilization Site was honoured directly or indirectly with five awards -- the most of any group or community.

Apolyton CS won "Most Informative Website", "Most User-Friendly Website" and "Best Website" overall; in addition, the webmastering duo of Markos Giannopoulos and Daniel Quick won the "Best Webmaster" title. Individually, Apolyton co-owner/webmaster Markos Giannopoulos was dubbed "Civ'er of The Year".     [ NEXT ... ]

'Best Website' (1999 Hodadian Awards)

'Most Informative Website' (1999 Hodadian Awards) 'Most User-Friendly Website' (1999 Hodadian Awards) 'Best Webmaster' (1999 Hodadian Awards) 'Civ'er of The Year' (1999 Hodadian Awards)

Although the 2000 edition of the Awards were planned, and went as far as accepting submissions and nominations, the effort died in late 2000 and was not resurrected. No subsequent years have seen these Awards given either; as a result, 1999 stands as the first and only year these Awards were given.
